love these needles for the price. They are smooth and the yarn slips off easily, but not as easily as metal needles. The cable can feel a little stiff at first, but will become more flexible over time. I've read that soaking the plastic under hot water or gently heating the plastic can speed up the process. I haven't done this, so I don't recommend it. (I accidentally sat on my own brand of needles and found them loosening under the warmth of my nice, nice ass. Don't try again at home. Great needles overall. If you're going to be doing a lot of knitting, go for it Don't make the same mistake as I. Head your cute and I advise a lot less heinny to knit and buy a spare set of circular knitting needles It will be a small investment but a HUGE money saver when you find out how much each needle costs individually .
