I bought this to make reading in bed easier. I guess I wasn't paying attention because I didn't realize you actually have 2 pillows! It was kind of a bonus for me because I was only expecting one. One is more like a wedge and this is the one I lean on to read. I put the other one under my feet. You can create a combination and use both, whichever is more convenient for you. I am very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this pillow. I wasn't sure what to expect and I'm happy. It's a memory foam material but quite heavy so you know it won't crack or lose its shape any time soon. It arrived in vacuum packaging and needs to "grow" into shape. There was a slight chemical smell at first, but that went away overnight. There is a sticker on the box telling you this so you won't be caught off guard. I appreciate that they made this for people who might be concerned about the smell staying in there. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and my back is happy too!
