So it's just another hot glue gun, right? No need to worry, right? This can be for those who are tired of always using a professional hot glue gun. In my opinion, nothing could be more the opposite! I've used my old 40w glue gun from time to time for the last 25 years and I can tell you the difference between this gun and this 300w glue gun is tremendous. Apparently the old gun never got hot enough to actually melt the glue. The glue is melted but not completely liquid. Because of this high viscosity, it was much more difficult to pull the trigger to force the adhesive out of the nozzle. On the other hand, This gun makes it easy to pull the trigger and pump out liquid glue. The results are better too, the glue melts and cools much better, forming a smoother puddle. In the attached photo you can see my first use of the weapon. I replaced the o-ring attached to the bottom of the bike light that attached it to the handlebars with a large rubber o-ring made with a hot glue gun. Yes, I could buy a 3D printer to create a mounting system for the lamp, but for now I've only saved $500 and a few days of work with a hot glue gun. Yes, I may end up spending $500+ and time making an ABS light mount, but for now I am very happy with my new hot melt bike light mount. I've also included a picture of the gun in my hand so you can get an idea of the size of the gun. my size? 6'2". Also, I thought I should mention that it drips less than my old 40 watt gun. I think that's because I had to work a lot harder to get the glue out of the nozzle .What one negative reviewer had to say about dripping guns just seems crazy. And so do I! To quote another reviewer, I can't believe I waited this long to buy this gun! Me paid for this gun myself and have nothing to do with the manufacturer or seller. Yes, I definitely recommend this gun! I think it's because I had to put in a lot more effort, to get the glue out of the nozzle. What one negative reviewer had to say about the gun drip just seems insane. And me too! To quote another reviewer, I can't believe I waited this long to purchase this gun!
