So far so good. I'm a Swifter fan, but I use them so often I had to find something more economical. This microfiber duster looks like it will save me money. It picks up dust very well and the stem extension is long enough to reach my high ceiling. It took some muscle power to lengthen the bar the first time, probably because it's new. When I'm done with it, I just rinse it off under the tap and rub the strands with my hand until all the dust is washed off. Then I rub the bar between my two hands to remove excess water. This also makes it normal again. Then hang upside down to dry.
