My first negative review.

It is rare to write a review. I think it pays to recognize a good product or service, but I find negative reviews often stem from personal opinion. This product is different - they are useless to me although I chose to wear them for this review so I can explain the issue to you. As soon as they arrived I was impressed that they looked like I expected them to, so from that point of view I was happy. They seem well built and not skinny at all. Everything changed as soon as I put them on. At first I thought they were dirty lenses, so I examined them and found them perfectly clean, as you would expect from brand new ones. I put them back on and the lenses seem to have fingerprints on them, you know, that kind of foggy and washed out effect. So my wife tried them and got the exact same ones. This turned out to be a serious case of eye/face reflection on the back of the lenses. Yes, the flickering in my eyes created a blurry effect across the entire field of view. Much worse when looking at the keyboard while typing, and slightly worse when looking at a bright monitor. For longer distances, I want to constantly take them off for "cleaning". I've had several people try it and they all report the same effects. I even offered them to a colleague for free, but he politely declined as soon as he tried them. I bought them on the grounds that, in theory, multifocal lenses should eliminate some degree of head tilting or constant moving away to accommodate different focal fields. These goggles fail to do that and are as classy as trying to make the lens "rounder" missed this key element in testing. As a wearer of glasses I have worn lenses of various brands, styles and types over the years and have never had lens reflection as poor as with these. I will return them for a refund!
