Wheel locks are a good investment. I had to replace the factory wheels on my 2013 Nissan Altima SL due to a theft in California. Instead, I chose to replace them with American Racing aluminum alloy wheels to add some zip to the car. Not flashy, but nice. Locks on wheels ensure their safety. I saw some dubious people looking at her from across the street. So far no attempt has been made to remove them. I painted the locks bright red to warn would-be thieves that it would take some effort. McGard wheel locks are made of hardened steel with nickel and copper plating and triple chrome plating. You have 10 different combinations of "keys" that fit these wheels. So thieves must be very lucky to have the right one for my application. I think I'm sure. . . I hope!
