I've tried 3 other Ethernet over BNC baluns, they work great and are a lot cheaper. With a flexible connection and a thinner profile, they are easier to work with. They will not work if the cable is of poor quality or has excessive interference. A good rule of thumb is that if the image on your existing BNC camera has a bit of noise or ghosting, it may not work. If this happened to 1 out of 6 cameras in the existing system.
