Bought 3 for my young kids for Christmas. It has many games on it. It has the ability to use your own SD card with your own games, but don't expect new AAA games to run on it. Old, but games downloaded from the internet work. My only complaint is that there is no way to exit the game and return to the game menu once you've selected a game. You have to turn it off and on again to play another game. Also, two of the three handhelds have buttons that are "turned" to the side. Example. Button A isn't straight up and down, it's on the side of the keypad. Suppose it entertains them, and that's the most important thing.
