The stage is well made and durable due to the corrugated material, but I wouldn't recommend putting it directly outside unless you have a way to secure and protect it. . The measurements are given but the pictures on the web suggest it is larger. I have a large Bible and it was too big for her, but in the picture where it is on the Bible it fits. No instructions came so I didn't understand what to do with the small glass/ceramic sticks that came with it. I used a styrofoam block, pushed sheep in and put poles in front of it like a fence. When I think about the process of making it as a puzzle, the stamping process, I think it's overpriced, but it's awesome.
