Review on πŸ”₯ Rectorseal 14010 Nokorode Regular Paste Flux - Optimal Soldering Solution in a 4-Ounce Size by David Sokolov

It worked great, then "uh-uh "

I've had mixed feelings lately. I've used NoKorode on many projects and I really enjoyed it, so I decided to use my favorite things at work instead of what's on the shelf. I bought it in April 2019 and used about half as expected with great results. However, I carried it with me in my sweaty tool box all summer and it got warm and fell off a bit. I thought "no problem" and recently (late November/early December) remixed it to use again. I was struggling with that one piece of copper pipe and the connections just weren't all working. I think the pipes aren't dry, there's water in there, whatever, so I take off all the pipes and take them to the shop. Super dry and still terrible joints. Grabbed a tube of Outis Paste and returned to hard joints. Hmm, tried Bridget's Paste at a local plumber and that worked. Tried my NoKorode and immediately went back to crappy joints. I have no idea what happened to that half-used tub, but it has changed somewhere and I can only assume it happened after it was disconnected over the summer. I still give it 3 stars because it worked great and I may have somehow soiled it in the month I haven't used it. No one else here has heard of flux going bad and my stuff at home still works great and is even older but never separated enough that I had to mix it again. I struggled with this single but tricky section of copper tubing for several weeks and it all came down to this flux being gone. It's frustrating that I have to do it over and over again in such a seedy place, but it all made it happen. run through a variety of threads in their work. My only bath at this point might just be an accident, I don't know. Order some Harris Bridgit because I see all Soyuz guys use it and am confused I have issues with this brand (they like it too, it's just too expensive for them on a large scale).
