Review on LMT Onsrud 64-012 Uncoated Diameter Tool by Dylan Goins

I bought this cutter because the up cutter was stripping a .050" thick sheet of ABS from a chipboard on my CNC router causing the cut to wander and it ruined it details. This cutting tool presses the plastic film against the degraded plate during cutting, so the film does not slip and the geometry of the part is correct, without deforming or deforming thin plastic films. I was able to cut thin plastic that was only attached to the four corners of a 24" x 48" sheet. This little thing is expensive but worth it. Be careful when changing tools. A tap with a wrench or a drop on concrete will destroy this tiny carbide tip. However, it takes a long time to cut material if it is not overused.
