Just received this adapter and I am stunned. I have a 200Mbps connection through Comcast. To date, I've gone from 38Mbps to 51Mbps on various devices (PC, laptop, Android phone, 4s). Just before installing the AC1200, I ran a speed test and got 52Mbps over the built-in WiFi (Dell XPS 8500). After a very quick and easy installation (I pre-installed the latest driver), I verified that the adapter worked on a 5GHz connection, and then started the test. I am impressed. In two tests I first got 168 Mbit/s and then 221 Mbit/s! Also, I have to say my current system doesn't have USB 3.0 so I'm running it on 2.0 with a 6ft extension cable. I also did a Steam download to do a slightly more realistic speed test. Still stunned. Steam was always around 4.1 Mbps and 5.9 Mbps at best. Now I have 26 Mbps and just because the download finished (4GB) it still went up. So far I'm very impressed. Very quick, easy to set up and looks good. All in all a great buy for less than β¬30 and worth every penny! 5+ stars.
