MORE THAN A PEPPER GRINDER

It is also the best salt grinder if you use the right salt. I've only been able to find grinders with nylon grinders that only last a few months at best. This grinder has a grinding mechanism that is made entirely of steel and is adjustable. If you use sea salt, many of them have a high moisture content that makes them sticky. I also don't like "wet" sea salt. I've had a grinder for a few years now and use THE SPICE LAB HIMALAYAN PINK CRYSTAL SALE NO. 27 LARGE GRAIN Available here at Revain; https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004LKVRLG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 I've been using this salt and coffee grinder for over two years with no problems. I use a letter opener, if necessary, to gently scrape off the salt that's stuck to the grinder where the salt is ejected. In humid weather, salt accumulates, dampens and falls on food. Cleaning the floor prevents this. I'm about to order another kilo of THE SPICE LAB salt linked above and hopefully it's as dry as the first bag. Keep the metal rod centered as you fill, but leave 1/2 inch to 1 inch clearance at the top. Replace the cap and twist the handle. When it is completely filled, it is almost impossible to turn it. Leave some space at the top, you can lay the windmill on its side and then turn the crank, once loosened it should work fine until it's empty again.
