Review on Enhance Your Audio Experience with the ASUS Strix SOAR Sound Card by Ognian Velikov ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best thing I have ever used, highly recommended!

Purchase cost me a little less than 7k. For the money, I think this card is a good purchase. Everything you need from her, she does well. I got pleasure from the sound quality of my music library. Now I plan to take more impressive headphones.

Adding some photos was a no-brainer to better illustrate my experience.

Pros
  • Good quality sound. I moved to this card from the built-in sound system and the difference was immediately noticeable. The sound became more detailed, the basses tightened up and became juicier. And in headphones and in acoustics 2.0, there is definitely progress. The volume margin of the Strix Soar is very large. I set a small impedance and for the Sennheiser HD 439 it is enough for the eyes. Multi-ohm headphones will definitely pull out the volume. There is no background in the headphones and acoustics. Quiet and smooth. The map looks solidly made, I did not notice any flaws. The cheap microphone stopped hissing, which is also a good plus. Convenient software for management, it is clear and understandable what this or that adjustment changes. And there's a lot of room for twisting. The drivers installed without problems and everything works without failures.
Cons
  • Little things that are not noticeable in everyday use. The sound clatters when switching the headphone / speaker output and when the PC is turned on. The engraved inscriptions to the nests are hard to see. To connect, you will have to look at the layout of the sockets on the box. There is no access to the front panel, but I do not use it. Perhaps someone will be confused by the additional power supply for the sound system. I didn’t have any problems with this, there are plenty of power wires on the PSU. The card is heating up, if you have any problems with the temperature in the case, then keep in mind.
