Review on πŸ§₯ Boys' Detachable Lightweight Waterproof Raincoats Windbreaker Jackets & Coats by Dave Baker

I wish the zippers were better

This wind/rain jacket is made of a nice, light material. This is ideal for rainy days in autumn or rainy days in spring. It offers enough warmth to keep the cold out and protects against wind and rain. Very soft lining inside. The outside of the raincoat is also soft and doesn't crunch or make noise like other raincoats we've bought before. It is a breathable fabric inside and out. I love the glowing neon zippers on the pocket and front of the jacket. Unfortunately the zippers are not of good quality. They are hard and uncomfortable to use. For this reason, I see that the zipper will probably be the first thing on the jacket. The zippers in the pocket are much worse than the zippers on the front of the jacket. But the front of the jacket is not very good either. Because of this, I expect this raincoat to last maybe a season. Weird because the zip on the hood works better than the zip on the front of the jacket and in the pockets. I think it's because of the way they covered the zipper. So if all the zippers were like the ones on the hood then it would be perfect. Overall I like the theme and the outer shell of the cloak. It's attractive and not too childish for my grandson. I only wish the zippers were of a better quality and kid friendly.

Pros
  • I made the best choice with this rain jacket. It keeps my son warm and dry. Dries very quickly after rain.
Cons
  • My son is 6 years old, the jacket size is 7-8 and it's small for him.
