Review on HEATIT HISD 6 Feet Heating Thermostat by Adam Krueger

Used to replace Rodent Heater Tape around a water pipe coming from a well at a friend's house. This tape seems thick enough and well made to get the job done with no issues. Love the thermostat feature - you just tape the thermostat to the pipe and the band turns on when the temperature in the pipe drops below 36 degrees Fahrenheit? I think? The fact is that if done correctly, the tape will measure the temperature of the pipe, and not the temperature of the air. The plug at the end will light up to let you know the band is powered. I also wrapped and taped tape around the same pipe after installing the heater tape. While this tape does its job, my friend should at least be ready for this winter water.
