They disintegrate into power tool parts and accessories

I was planning on using them to polish jewelry like a lot of people. I dropped one on the floor and it fell apart. Tried another one and as I slowly applied it to the polish the bristles started to fall apart. Just touching the bristles with your finger would cause them to flake off. They don't last at all.
