Based on my observations, these brushes are top-notch when it comes to buffing and polishing. They work great with my power tools and I've been able to achieve amazing results. I was planning on using them to polish jewelry like a lot of people. I dropped one on the floor and it fell apart. Tried another one and as I slowly applied it to the polish the bristles started to fall apart. Just touching the bristles with your finger would cause them to flake off. They don't last at all.

Purchased for polishing jewelry with a 3mm collet. The description says the shafts should be 3mm in diameter. You are not. Actual measurement is 2.86-2.88mm in diameter. No problem if you're using a collet tip, but definitely won't work with a 3mm collet. Otherwise it seems to have worked very well. The bristles are medium-hard, but cannot be unwound.
