Company stood behind the product.

The first pump installed easily but when used appeared to lug the engine more than the original system. Should have realized there was a problem as this pump failed during use on the second tank of fuel - simply lost power. When pulled, I discovered that the pump shaft had split at the keyway and allowed the key to pull out of keyway thus engine was spinning in the pump shaft. The company (or Walmart) replaced the pump without question. The second pump was more difficult to install due to scoring on the engine shaft, but once installed worked exactly as the original system. So far, it's performed as desired.
