First of all these glasses look beautiful. The overall craftsmanship is very good considering they are hand blown. But that's where it stops. Here are some of the problems: 1) It doesn't retain heat because it has too wide a neck and loses all heat from there. In fact, it's worse than my ceramic mugs. 2) They are very thin. I dropped one from a foot down on the carpet and it shattered into pieces. 3) They are wide and very slippery. I didn't try to wash it in the dishwasher, I was afraid of breaking it. So I wash them by hand and of course I broke one slipping out of my hand while washing. I put one of these in the microwave but after 30 seconds I heard a sound that was close to an explosion. Then another one broke. I've looked through their brochure about 10 times for a hint that they can't be reheated in the microwave, but couldn't find any information there. So figured they were microwaveable. That's definitely not true. 5) The outer shell becomes very warm to the touch, which I didn't expect at all. My previous experience with double wall goggles was that they felt cool on the outside and very hot on the inside. That's definitely not one of them. 6) They are very expensive and with all the above issues definitely not worth the price.
