Review on Dorman 800 301 Fuel Line Repair by David Bar

This product did not come with any instructions at all and the only thing I could find online was a barely watchable video that didn't go into much detail anyway. It took me a while to figure out how it fits together etc. It really worked. I was able to fit a nylon fuel line into a barbed steel fuel line as well as a quick disconnect on the other end. I've tried many times to do this by hand and other tricks I've seen on the internet with no success. At the same time, I think that the price for it is too high and may not withstand frequent use, for example, in a service center. The cap fell off the "gun" on first use and I think the threads in the blocks will get tangled pretty quickly. Update: My suspicions were correct, the second time I tried to use this tool, " broke my hand. I will try to replace it under warranty.
