To say this is a bad product would be an understatement. I bought this product to use on a recent trip to London. I called customer service before the trip to make sure the device was usable in London and they assured me it would work fine. Not so. The device is heavy, so to speak, heavy on the top, and when plugged into the socket, it tilted down and almost spontaneously detached. So I used duct tape to lift/hold the device in the socket. The light flickered a few times and went out and then out. I've tried several attachments hoping to find a suitable workaround, but no luck. Finally I gave in and asked the hotel concierge for a converter and transformer. I don't know if the pins (all) are too short so they can't make a good connection in the actual socket, or if it's the "top-heavy" design of the device that prevents it from staying securely in the socket. Socket is the reason it doesn't work/not working, but I know this product didn't live up to my expectations. Due to the product design and actual requirements, I think the manufacturer is making promises that they cannot keep.
