Review on ๐Ÿš— TIROL Auto Air Inflatable Roof Rack: The Ultimate Solution for Kayak, Luggage, and Paddleboard Transportation with Patent-Protected Design by Paul Andrews

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It wasn't the cheapest, but I liked it because of the large rings along both pads.

I've been looking for a suitable luggage rack for a long time and decided on this one. It wasn't the cheapest, but I liked it for the large rings along the two spacers that allow you to securely tighten items of different widths. But it has two extra straps and I don't have to worry about my kayak lying on top of the car when I'm driving on the freeway. I also liked this product because the pads looked wider than most others I looked at. I also used pillows to carry lumber from the hardware store. Self inflating pillows work really really well, in fact the instructions say it will take a few minutes to inflate, but it only takes a few seconds. Removing the pads is pretty easy too, you just open the valve and the air will be pushed out as you roll it up. All in all I thought it was a very good buy except for one simple thing. I have a 2015 Ford Escape and the straps that run through the car to hold the upholstery barely reach the buckle on the other side. I had to use pliers to grab the end of the strap to pull it through the buckle. If the manufacturer had spent just a penny or two more to make the straps a little longer I would have given them 5 stars. Anyway, I don't think the straps are long enough for anything more than a small SUV like mine. Suggestions: Make sure your car is clean on top so the pad doesn't rub dirt into your car's paintwork and scratch it. . Also, I read in another review that twisting the belts reduces the pop at higher speeds.
