Review on 🔧 ACDelco 38194 Professional Drive Belt Tensioner Assembly and Pulley by Dre Fowler

2002 Corvette C4, A4, 68,000 miles. ACDelco 38194. Screwed straight. The old pulley bearing was dry and I could hear them as the pulley turned. Uses a 15mm socket and torqued to 37 ft/lb. The new tension spring felt the same as the old tension spring. If desired, you can replace just the pulley, sold separately, instead of the entire assembly. You need a 6-groove idler, not a smooth idler. This is for the serpentine belt that drives the water pump, power steering and alternator (GM calls it alternator). Made in Canada on the back of the metal tensioner, but the box has a "Made in Korea" label with the part number.
