Review on 📷 FLIR ONE Pro iOS Thermal Imaging Camera - Camera Only by David Finley

The camera has good features, good picture quality, I'm not an expert in this field, but for trivial tasks it seems accurate enough. I have a Pixel 2 XL phone. I had the device for a few days when I decided to update the Android OS. After updating the Android version to the latest Android 9 (Pie), the app didn't work at all. FLIR took over 3 weeks to fix the app. During this time I could neither use nor test the device. I've only used it a few times. When the app started working again I downloaded it and to my surprise my device battery died. I charged the device overnight and then tested it in the morning and it was back to normal I thought. The big problem is that the battery life is very poor. Once fully charged, the device could only be used for about 10 minutes. I have charged and discharged the device as recommended by FLIR (they know they are poorly designed) to no avail. During the night I recharged the block and drove to work with the block. It's been about 3 hours since I unplugged the charger and the device was already at 14% with no prior use. I contacted FLIR support about this. They gave me a boxed answer about the battery even though I had detailed my issues and troubleshooting steps. I went back to the Revain reviews and read a lot of them and I'm not the only one with the problem. I called them because I wasn't happy with their answer and told myself that I probably have a bad device. At this point I just wanted to return the unit for a refund, but as I already had 20 days left before the return deadline I couldn't. Since I haven't been able to test the device for over 3 weeks with the app down, I think they will at least trade it in for one of their standalone products even if I have to pay the difference. The support staff didn't help me at all other than wanting to do a warranty exchange. I have requested an escalation but am still waiting for a response. Thankfully, Revain was able to take it back for a $73 restocking fee, which is fair because it's not really Revain's fault. Better to lose that money than keep that precarious $400 paper weight.
