So I have an H2 Hummer that started squeaking a few years ago. I replaced the serpentine belt with a new OEM quality belt, which fixed the problem for about a week or two and made a loud squeak again, mostly when it was cold but other times as well. So I did a lot of research and finally ordered a Gatorback fan belt, Gatorback idler pulley, and Gatorback idler pulley for a complete belt system overhaul. So they arrived quickly and I popped the hood up and got to work, their tabs are easy to install and don't require a press or a pulley puller to remove. The factory pulleys also have plates that don't match the new pulleys, but they aren't needed, so not a big deal. After replacing the pulleys and V-ribbed belt the squeak hasn't returned yet, so far so good with no issues and it's nice not to hear a loud screech every time we start the car.
