Definitely BUY this and don't RENT an ISP modem.

Why? because the cheap modem provided by ISPs has a minimum bandwidth. THIS modem has triple the bandwidth of most rental modems, meaning it can give you more of the service you pay for. Will buy this brand again if I need a DOCSIS 3.1 modem.
