
I used them on calipers but I don't think I used them for their intended purpose. I used it to compress a dueling piston caliper BEFORE unscrewing the caliper pins and removing the caliper from the rotor. I have used in conjunction with the C-Clamp to evenly compress the pistons. I need to figure out how to keep the jaws from rotating. Maybe some Q Bond? This job would be perfect if the jaws didn't rotate, instead I did it with some careful patience and counterbalance. Of course I don't think I used this tool for its intended purpose, but I still don't understand why you would want them to move.
