This is a huge roll, so it's going to last forever. I used it to keep a rug in place on top of carpeting. It is super sticky, so have someone help you especially with larger rugs because once you set it down it's gonna stay there. Our rugs use to move and bunch up all the time even thought we bought a thing to go under it, but I guess those only work on hard wood or tile flooring. With the tape the rugs have not moved once and that makes me beyond happy because I was constantly having to fix the rug. It would also work great on rugs of any shape, since you can cut it any length you want.I have yet to try it on my wooden flooring. Even though it says it doesn't leave a residue behind, I'm still kind of scared. Might do a spot test in an inconspicuous place and see what happens.Overall great rug to carpet product and I would totally recommend it.
