I would say go for it, love them on my 2006 Tacoma 4x4!

I have installed this on my 2006 Tacoma Crew Cab SR5 4x4 and am happy with it so far. Everyone at Tacoma World is a 5100 and OME fan, and I really enjoy going against the grain, so I picked them with the appropriate Quick Lift up front (they add 2-2.5 up front). I matched them to the heavy metal tags by adding a leaf on the back (two inches). I'm glad I went this route and the installation was pretty easy, no major issues once I figured out how to do it. Normally one side lasts 4 hours, the other side lasts 2 types. Anyway, I think if you go this route you will be happy with them.
