I have had a Bosch 3283 DVS since I was a teacher in a carpentry workshop in 1991. Got it because a young man ruined it and they closed the carpentry shop (ty Jax, Florida). It was very frustrating for...well, decades (yes, decades) because he wasn't holding the discs in place. But now that I have this hook and loop base, this amazing grinder is back in business. The hooks on this pad seem tiny/small/small compared to the original. However, it will work with HarborFreight's current (January 13, 2016) loop spacers. Press a little and you're done. The original base had large hooks or loops. It's getting late. Whatever it is, this new part has smaller and tighter rims and works very well with HarbourFreight rims.
