*** UPDATE - SAVE MONEY AND SHOP ELSEWHERE!

Well I figured $10 I'll take a chance and see what I can do. In any case, not knowing what cards or deck you're getting is half the fun. I wasn't hoping for much in terms of cards, but I was at least hoping to get something different out of black and white. I received two packs of XY Roaring Skies and an XY Primal Clash, both of which I could buy at the nearest toy store, so that was a little disappointing. Of these, the only item of value was the reverse rarity of Banette. So I can't tell if they are weighted or not. Maybe I was just unlucky with the traction. I can grant them the benefit of the doubt and try again later. 03/16/16 - I decided to give these sellers another try. Ever since I started collecting, I've been collecting coins and badges that can be found in some booster packs and packs. So this time I bought (2) three random booster packs from VGMX that said I would get an extra coin and a promo/holographic card. Stupidly I assumed it would be three random packs, a coin and a promo from different packs or previous boosters or something else that was already opened and for sale. What I received was an actual 2 blisters, causing all of my "random" packs to be Breakout. When I saw that it would cost me half as much to send the packages back as it would to pay for them, I decided to just accept the fact that they weren't random and opened them up to see what I got. I pulled two rare back cards from the packs, not counting the holographic promos that came with the blister packs. Something seemed suspicious, but I realized weight gain is no good, right? 03/30/16 - To solve the mystery once and for all, I bought a gram scale to weigh the packages I buy in different stores. Shops and dealers to find out where are the safest places to buy tickets. I decided to give him one LAST chance. So I bought 3 packs of Three Random Boosters for a total of nine packs from Swift Buy. They arrived today and to be honest I'm surprised I was so hopeful. But when I opened it up and saw that my "random" boosters were in packs of three, resulting in three packs of 2 XY base sets and 1 Flashfire with almost the same graphics, I knew I screwed up. However, I wanted to be obedient and weigh each pack. It looks like this: Base X/Y with Yvetal Art = 18.5 grams. / Blastoise Art = 18.5 grams X/Y Base with Venosaur Art = 18.4 grams Flashfire with Mega Charizard X Art = 19.8 grams Flashfire with Mega Charizard X type = 19.7 grams Flashfire with Pyroar type = 19.7 grams Needless to say that when I saw these numbers, I was upset. So I opened them all up and with EVERY NON-HOLIC RARE I got I just got angrier. The whole reason I bought a nine was to rule out any possibility that I was just unlucky. With Pokémon cards, the expectation is that you'll get an EX/Ultra Rarity every 4 packs, MAYBE five if you're having a bad day. But nine packs in one sitting and absolutely nothing to show? It just doesn't add up statistically. If you also add my other two previous purchases, it will be 18 BOOSTERS FROM NOTHING! Now I'm willing to admit that I was unlucky the first time I bought from Swift Buy (when I only got an inverted rare Banetta). While it's HARD to weigh boosters down, it's POSSIBLE. But I've decided to give VGMX the benefit of the doubt. But having purchased 9 packs (12 total) from Swift Buy containing nothing but non-holographic rarities, I can tell you with absolute certainty that there is absolutely nothing random about these packs. They clearly pull the best packs and then resell them to unsuspecting online buyers, likely hoping that unsuspecting parents or grandparents will buy them for their kids and never bother filing a complaint with Revain. Well, Swift Buy, you can't fool me. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! And only buy from VGMX if you want needle-free blisters. My suggestion to you is to save your money and buy from local stores. Either that or go to eBay. This is where I will be from now on.
