This is a really useful set! The red mixing bowl is huge and can definitely hold double recipes or large salads. I like that it has handles and a non-slip bottom. I had no problem using it with an electric mixer and the batter was scraped off with a spatula. It goes very well with a yellow baking bowl. I use a red bowl for dry ingredients and a yellow bowl for wet ingredients. The yellow bowl has convenient filling lines inside and a spout for easy pouring. These are the only bowls in this set. The blue screen is very durable and I like it better than the cheap flimsy screen I have. I don't like the purple screen. It's larger than my largest metal screen, so it will definitely come in handy, but I'm concerned that the plastic mesh will wear out or stretch over time. I know others say it's better than metal because it doesn't rust, but I've never had rust on any of my metal screens. I think I'll just be very careful with use and cleaning and see what happens over time. The measuring cups are good and I love how neatly they stack together. However, nesting has a small disadvantage. To use a measuring cup accurately, scoop a heaping cup and use a knife or similar straight object to scrape the excess off the top. In order for these cups to be nested, the side panels (which connect to the handles) must be higher than the true measurement line. This means you can't scrape the top off to get the exact amount. If you're just judging your measurements, they're great, but if you want to be super precise when baking, you won't like the 1, 1/2, or 1/3 cup sizes in this set. Measuring spoons are excellent, no complaints. They are made from very durable plastic and I love that each spoon has a milliliter and gram conversion right on the handle. All in all a great set at a great price. I love how much space is saved when everything is put together and it's really handy to be able to just pull this set out when I need to bake something.
