I bought a couple of these adapters a few months ago and needed another one to be able to use all the peripherals I have I have almost 2 power packs, one stayed on my desk, the other I took with me on the street. After I received the third adapter, it turned out to be dead and not powering my laptop, so I assumed it was a bad block. Revain were quick to arrange to return and replace the same item and to my great surprise it also did not work when plugged into my laptop with the existing connector. Upon further investigation, it appears that either the manufacturer changed the design of the product, adjusting the depth of the pins enough to make them incompatible with the existing parts (although they look the same except for the depth of the pins). both sides). . My guess is that they either made production changes between buying the originals I have, or they didn't do a good job of quality control to ensure they remain backwards compatible with the same models. They cost too much to solve such a problem for supposedly identical parts. Now I'm going on a trip to see if I can contact the supplier and see if they can fix this issue or I'll refund them and look for a similar adapter.
