We taped this film to the corner window above our sliding glass door to try to block some of the sunlight that hits us when we eat at the kitchen table. The photos suggest that the film is very dark. No, that is not so. We had to put a second layer of foil on top of the first and it's still not as dark as we'd like. Besides, it's not easy to work with him. Maybe it could make things easier if we applied it to ordinary window glass. But, as said, our window is over a sliding glass door, and the window is not square or rectangular. Although we cut the foil before going up the stairs, applying it and removing the bubbles was a lot more difficult than we thought based on the online information.
