Needs some cleaning

These clips have some issues. The threads of the screws in particular are very rough and filled with sand. It takes some time to delete them. Grit can cause problems with unpredictable clamp force when tightening. The rear screws also have serrated ends that don't align with the threads. This causes the clamps to move sideways when tightened. A bit of sandpaper and a drill can clean this up and improve things a bit, but the bottom of the hole on the back of the clamps isn't square either, so there's very little you can do without a cutter or drill press. . Applying some lube also helps smooth them out, but they still move when tightened. It's quite difficult to keep the jaws parallel to each other when tightening the clamp and it almost takes a second clamp to keep the jaws flat. However, if you have time to play around with them, you can get them. capture details accurately. However, it is not recommended for serious work. You should probably make your own for that. You would have gotten better.
