Review on HYSHIKRA 156 163MHz 6 7Inches Antenna Transceiver by Andy Hearshman

Works very well. Good short unobtrusive VHF antenna. I installed a Sea Ray 240 on my deck. Used the hardware to attach it to the 360° anchor light that sits on my wake mast. Works great and looks good too. You hardly notice. I could hear and speak at great distances. I boat on a river so normally you can't hear anything from afar, but I was amazed at how far others could hear me. Competes with expensive 8" antennas. On the lake it may not compete with expensive antennas, but on the river I'm very satisfied. I'm sure it will work well on the lake as well, just haven't tried it yet. The Fittings are also just what I need, just attach to a pole or rail or anything that fits.
