They do exactly what they say. Well designed and packaged. However, the effort required to open it is a little higher than expected. I don't know if that's normal for soft close drawers as these are the first ones I've ever used or installed. If it's ok or I can adjust them looser and someone lets me know I'll upgrade them to 4 stars. In addition, the spring lock makes a slight "ringing" sound when closing, as the automatic lowering mechanism is doing its job. .
