I do not recommend this case to protect your Garmin. First, it's huge. Yes, that means all the components fit inside, but it's so big I don't feel like they're securely fastened inside. There are three thin, almost canvas cases that fit the Garmin, charger and window mount. But there's no padding, so I'm concerned there might be damage to the screen. These pouches are only attached to the case with small Velcro strips and they fell out of the case immediately when I held it upside down. Okay, you can tell the case is big enough to hold other things, but then again, you run the risk of those items rattling and damaging the screen. I wish I hadn't bought this product. I'll probably use it as a travel shaving bag and buy a standard Garmin case from Garmin myself. Why am I getting cheaper?
