Review on BLACK+DECKER 20V MAX Cordless Tire Inflator, πŸ”‹ Dual Power (Cordless & Corded), Tool Only (BDINF20C) by Leslie Matlak

Listing the pros and cons, but got a bad block 2 times in a row, and in general I do not recommend.

I liked my 2010 Black Decker wireless inflator because unlike most others it was durable and used a pump (for airbeds and inflatables) with a compressor (for cars) combined ) bicycle tires and sports balls). After 9 years the battery died so I bought a newer version. Here I will list the pros and cons and the final verdict. Pros - Still one of the few to combine a pump and compressor - unlike the 2010 B&D inflator, this one can run when connected to the mains. at 110v in addition to 12v or battery - nice - a little less noisy than the 2010 inflator - like the 2010 pump with a set of nozzles. included), unless you already have one, such as B. your B&D drill. - 110V is ridiculously short (1-2 feet) and difficult to use without an extension cord. - Not the cheapest, especially considering the price of the battery. - Contrary to the 2010 inflator, the compressor hose here does not have a good retention system - the button controls are simple, but not 100% intuitive at first. Also confusing is the pump logo (air mattress with sleeping bag folded on top) - the pressure was reduced by a few psi: adjusting the pressure it would inflate and continue to rise, then stop at what turned out to be the correct PSI ( on another device tested). This was very embarrassing - 2 times in a row I got a device where the compressor working on the tires completely refused to work when I attached the ball nozzle. I also tried my old ball nozzle, but in all cases it shut off the entire compressor within a second. I spoke to B&D and they confirmed it was wrong and returned and got a new one only to find the same defect. There is either something fundamentally wrong with this model, or at least the B&D quality control is not working properly. But even if there wasn't an issue with the ball nozzle, the other issues combined have made me love this machine less than the old 2010 B&D inflator. I have a lot of B&D tools and generally they make items of decent quality quality. It looks like they missed the target.

Pros
  • Auto shut off stops unit after reaching desired pressure
Cons
  • Some bugs
