I bought these gloves because they were recommended to me after looking for gloves to cook pulled pork. However, I found them very poorly suited for smoking and grilling. First, if you put both gloves on so that they fit snugly over the food or items on the grill, you will have a hard time removing them. Secondly, they are not as heat resistant as the product description would suggest. I've found that trying to keep a pan at 300 degrees, well below the product's specs, doesn't work for more than a few seconds. At best, they're only good for moving things quickly. Third, they are short-lived. After three uses, a finger almost fell off one of the gloves. This purchase was not worth it.
