WATERPROOF & DISHWASHER SAFE: The gloves are waterproof and repel grease and sticky sauces, meaning they can be cleaned with a simple rinse, or in the dishwasher. MORE FLEXIBILITY AND CONTROL: Resilient silicone gloves allow you to use your fingers, so you have more flexibility and control when working around flames and heat. Best save on kitchen and table linens

I am very disappointed that Cuisinart put its name on a product like this. These gloves are worthless. They don't block heat at all. My husband tried using them when grilling and his hands got so hot it was difficult to remove the gloves resulting in him burning his fingers easily. He's also tried them on items coming out of the 350 oven and they don't block that heat either. I want my money back for this product!

Feels like butter in pot holders and oven mitts

This is normal. Heat resistance is a big plus. I can get in the oven or smoker, pull out the racks, or move objects and not even feel it. However, if you want to grab and hold something, you can forget about it. I've been trying to reach my smoker and move the wood chip and water containers, filling them and dropping them. These things are like butter when you try to do something like this. EVERYTHING is getting out of control. Now I need to buy a different kind of gloves so I can pick things…

Solution of problems. - Oven Mitts and Gloves

I've been using them for a few months now and really like them. But they're a little tighter on me than I'd like. They are too small for my master's hands. Ours didn't arrive broken as others have mentioned. I wanted a pair of silicone gloves because my silicone gloves didn't give me any control or heat protection. I want to get in the instant pot and flip the whole chicken. For that they are amazing. Then I throw them in the washing machine. They are also great for the oven. I just wish they…

Does not fit XL size man's hand

You don't suit me. Why is it so damn hard to find potholders that fit an XL man's hand? Most of them don't fit deep enough in my forearm to even reach my fingers. This short one had almost the same problem, but it fit over my forearm but my fingers didn't quite fit in the holes. The finger holes are too thin for a man's hand. I have big but normal hands. I used it even though it didn't quite fit and I could really feel the heat coming through! And to top it off, when you open it up, you're…

Not as good as I thought

It's a great concept but they don't do the trick. I wanted them to be used with my Instant Pot. I figured I could handle the components without worrying about hot pad saturation. The problem is that they are too rigid to grip anything securely. Heat resistance isn't great either. I wouldn't take a hot pan with me. You can definitely feel warmth through them. Although they are suitable for replacing pot inserts and can easily be washed out in soapy water, they are not as useful as hoped. Another

Not strong, not as heat resistant as advertised

I bought these gloves because they were recommended to me after looking for gloves to cook pulled pork. However, I found them very poorly suited for smoking and grilling. First, if you put both gloves on so that they fit snugly over the food or items on the grill, you will have a hard time removing them. Secondly, they are not as heat resistant as the product description would suggest. I've found that trying to keep a pan at 300 degrees, well below the product's specs, doesn't work for more…

Great for indoor oven use

Gloves are much better than a towel in a hot oven! They protect your hands and rise above your wrists. The thickness of the gloves makes it difficult to grip small pans and trays, but it's not impossible. I recommend using both gloves when removing pots and pans from the oven. With just one hand - if your grip isn't perfect - you can drop a hot object on yourself or on the floor. When the temperature is very high - 400 degrees Fahrenheit and above - you can feel the heat seeping through the…

Excellent gloves only if they are fully intact.

Love the concept of these gloves and was thrilled that they fit the new stove and oven that were installed FIVE DAYS ago. I bought these after buying a new carbon steel wok because when I finally got up the nerve to season it REALLY on my old stove, I found my hand was in danger of coming into contact with the metal sleeve around the wooden handle get . For the initial work I wore heavy leather gloves up to the elbows. So I chose silicone gloves as my NEW oven was due to be installed on…
