Review on K N 81 0402 Fuel Pump by Dangelo Toliver
Brand name isn't always good quality
Bought because it's K&N and made in the USA because I thought it would be good right? Not correct. When I finished the rest of the car, it was already in front of the window to be returned. The pump is rated at 4-7 psi. I originally had 3psi on startup and figured I could work with that. After a few minutes of idling, the pressure dropped to 1psi, after a short drive to 0psi. If this pump hits or misses, I wouldn't risk it. Spend an extra $100 on a quality pump and save thousands on engine repairs.
