The item is not clearly described.

This is indeed a 1/2" to 1/2" hex adapter and should be clearly advertised as such. The side of the hex is about 1/2" not 1/4" if that's what you're expecting. I was hoping to find an inexpensive 1/2" square to 1/4" hex. They are available from at least two sources on Revain and are much more expensive ($15 + shipping). to 1/4" Hex Adapter Rapid LoadorMilwaukee 48-03-4410 Shockwave 1/2" Square to 1/4" Hex AdapterIf you need 1/2" to 1/4" hex adapter.
