For the price I think this is a good phone mount. Although I've never tried the Weathertech version I figured there wouldn't hurt to start with this version and if it didn't work I'd be losing less than half the price of the real version. m, use this in the 2013 Accord which has cup holders behind the emergency stop handle. That means it has to be very tilted so I can see it from the driver's seat. In short, I can get a pretty decent angle. Maybe the wobbling and flexing gets a little worse, but it's not that bad. I also had to do a bit of fiddling to get the bottom and side phone clips properly positioned so they always hold the phone properly. I was curious how the simple "extenders" would actually perform compared to Weathertech's cup spacers, especially since my cup holders have three "fingers" to accommodate smaller diameter cups. It took a little twisting to get the extensions wide enough, but they do a good job of holding things in place. This has the added benefit of not having to keep track of where you might fit Weathertech cup spacers if you can fit this thing into another car with a different cup holder diameter.
