Ladies, it worked with my hair dryer and iron! There are no problems with the heating at all!

I didn't know how to straighten my hair with my expensive Elchim blow dryer and Chi straightener. Third World problems. . . i know lol A few years ago I traveled to Australia with a converter and tried it with a curling iron and a blow dryer. The curling iron didn't get hot, just made a soft buzzing sound, after which I threw it away to be safe. The hair dryer only worked for 5 minutes, after that it overheated. What worried me the most now was the iron. Since this was tested with Babyliss I went out and bought a Babyliss hair dryer. I plugged it in at a hotel in Italy and turned it on, breathless. . . . and it worked like a champ! Yes, it seemed to work fine. Same performance and such. I also bought a cheap dual voltage iron from TJMaxx. I was too afraid to risk my iron. The brand of the iron was 'Exclusive' and I've used it in this converter and it heats up just like it normally does at home. The bonus I love about this converter is the 4 ports to charge your phone. They usually only have 1 or 2 phone lines, but this one had 4 lines. I will probably buy a second converter when we take our two boys to Europe this summer as they will be in a separate room and need to charge their phones. Another nice touch is the extension cord. Trust me it makes a difference when you stick a big brick converter right into the wall, it never stays in. We were able to leave the converter on our bedside table and easily use the phone's charging ports while surfing on our phones before bed. We are very glad we got this, I highly recommend it!
