Review on Kayme All Weather Waterproof Car Cover With Lock And Zipper For Ford, VW, Mazda Hatchbacks (Up To 177 Inch) by Evan Beougher

Might only be good for UV protection

It is in fact NOT WEATHER PROOF, I needed a cover because driver side window won't go up and it was about rain with heavy winds, so I got this product to help it. Throughout the heavy weather I look out my window and see this cover opening with the zipper halfway up even though I made sure I zipped it all the way and the front and back was lifting like crazy. Altough it may have been my mistake as I did tighten the straps but I guess I didn't tighten it enough. Tightening more did help but didn't solve the problem. My car is 194in long so I got the 194in - 208in option but I think getting the 186in - 193in option would've performed better as it looked pretty loose. Only reason why it didn't fly away was because of the middle lock but water still got in. I had to zip tie the cover onto the side mirrors to keep it stable which solved it. After all of that and a day after I take the cover off and see water spots, small water puddles, and dirt spots on the car and yes the cover was dry when I took it off. I even noticed more scratch marks on the car due to the cover's inside texture during the heavy winds. As for UV protection against the sun I'm not sure how it'll perform. The outside of the cover is highly reflective which I do not like and thank God I don't have it in the road because I bet it'll blind drivers with how shiny it is and felt cheap. Basing it off my old cover, this cover was far worse in design and material. I do not recommend this brand at all, find another!
