This product does exactly what it was designed to do. I have a roof rack for my car that I had to get from a third party. The jamb itself uses clips that run under the jamb at the top of the door. So I wanted another layer of protection so the clips wouldn't scratch my paint (you can see the vinyl just below the clip in the image below). Application was pretty easy, it took me a few tries to make sure it was right with no air bubbles. There are no instructions but I have seen a tint applied and they use soap and water before applying the film to the car. I used Windex before applying the vinyl and then squeezed out the air bubbles. Having liquid underneath makes this a lot easier. It turned out great, you won't even notice it unless you're really looking for it. Of course I know it's there, but others don't notice until I point it out. All in all, it's clean, easy to use and does what it's supposed to do!
