Review on MICTUNING 13Amp Integrated Extension Water Resistant by Tuan Core

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wiring as expected.

I bought this socket to fit in the front bumper of my 2001 F250 7.3 liter diesel truck heater block. I've always been bothered by the cable hanging from the front bumper. After ordering I read several reviews where people said it was connected in reverse, which wasn't a big deal for my application but still an issue. I took out my meter and checked it. There's nothing wrong. It could be something they fixed during production, or it could be because people got confused when they checked theirs. While the male end has both pins the same size, the female end resembles a standard extension with the left hole (hot) being larger than the right (neutral). The left prong shows continuity with the left hole and the right prong shows continuity with the right hole. Ditto for the ground pin and hole. The installation was quite carved and dried. Cut a 2" hole and attach with the 4 self tapping screws I had. The screws provided are not suitable for my application. Installation is much cleaner than with the cable hanging down.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • boring package
