eBay The Shopping Platform Of The Century

eBay is definitely one of the names you hear of first think about when n you think about online shopping. Of course, eBay is an American multinational e-commerce platform that is based in San Jose, California. eBay facilitates consumer-to-consumer and business-to-consumer sales through the medium of it’s website. Simply put, this means that you can purchase items and consumer goods via the eBay website. Trust me when I say this platform is very popular. eBay was established in 1995 and it very much now qualifies as a multi billion dollar company that operates in as much as 32 different foreign countries. A wide and vast amount of goods are sold and bought through the shopping website by people around the world. The website is of course free to buyer buy if you’re looking to engage eBay as a seller then you will have to pay a commission for your goods to be listed. Sellers also pay a fee when their goods are sold as well. The website also provides auction services and initially the company was known by the name AuctionWeb until 1997. Since those days in the ninety nineties eBay has experienced phenomenal growth. Millions of people today, make use of the e-commerce platform for their purchase of consumer goods and items. eBay has expanded to over 24 countries worldwide including India and China however they’re no longer operational in those countries as of the moment. I discovered that there’s a whole list of unsupported items that cannot be traded on eBay. The list contains a lot of unregulated items ranging from human body parts to weapons and drugs. eBay is a popular enough e-commerce website that generates a lot of traffic to it’s shopping platform. I personally hope to use of it one day and discover for myself just how efficiently they operate. However if you’re considering eBay as an option then you can go ahead.

  • eBay operates in over 32 different foreign countries
